The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization

The Organization of the Islamic World for Education, Science and Culture formerly called the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, is an international organization resulting from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) created in 1982 and specialized in the fields of education, science, culture and communication in Islamic countries. It aims to support and strengthen the links between the Member States.

ICESCO has 54 members and three observer states, its headquarters are located in Rabat, Morocco. His director general is Doctor Salim ben Mohammed Al-Malik.
